Social Sciences

The Social Sciences subjects are about understanding the human world and the interaction people have with it. 

It is the scientific study of human society and social relationships, and plays a central role within the school and college.

We have a strong and dedicated team of staff who bring with them diverse experiences and skills from the world outside of education. All of the Social Sciences team have high expectations of teaching and learning and are incredibly passionate about their fields of expertise.

Accommodation and Resources

Rooms are well equipped with interactive whiteboards and have access to laptops and tablets for use within lessons. The Social Sciences Department have a wide range of resources for pupils to access to extend their learning beyond the classroom. A-level lessons are taught in the Sixth Form building.
